I have been trying to make this wonderful looking seafood lasagna for 2 weeks. Last week the store did not have the lasagna noodles. This week the baking time needed was impeded. So I decided to try a variation, and I think it turned out quite well. And instead of baking, I did it all in the microwave, which saved a lot of time.
Crab Pasta Bake
12 oz crab, imitation ok, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
8 oz pasta
1 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped
1/2 cup milk
1 tps galic salt
1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
Cook pasta in a casserole dish in the microwave, 11 minutes. Drain.
While pasta is cooking, saute celery and mushrooms in 1T oil.
Combine in a mixing bowl, soup, cottage cheese, milk and crab meat.
Drain pasta, combine all ingredients back in casserole. Cover and heat in microwave, about 5 minutes. Top with cheese. Serve.
