We do a pretty good job of recycling our kitchen waste, mainly by feeding it to the chickens, who in turn, make eggs. But Tim read about growing celery from the stalk, so he tried it. Celery was very cheap at Easter, so I bought several stalks, to be used in veggie trays, stir fry and just snacking. Here is the celery stalk bottom after sitting in a bowl of water for just over 2 weeks.
