Another week is over, and while it was not too busy, everyone did accomplish several projects. And I was able to get a small cleaning job done in the midst of laundry (remember I usually do laundry on Monday and Friday) and weekend preparations. I had dusted the baseboards in the dining room, so I decided to dust baseboards and door jams in the living room, school room, and my bedroom. WOW, we have a lot of doors. And because we heat our house with wood during the winter, we get a lot more black dust in our house, so all these areas needed dusting.
This is the last weekend with everyone home. Daughter #2 heads to the Philippians next week for a 2 month mission trip, and daughter #1 will be leaving for her internship at Epcot in about 3 weeks. And daughter #3 and son #1 will be leaving for camps and conferences next week, so it will be quiet around here for a few days.
Hope you all enjoy the Memorial Day weekend, and thanks to all the members and families of the armed forces for your service- especially my friend and reader, Nancy, who has both her son and husband who are active duty Navy.
