“Restless in Carolina” by Tamera Leigh- book review
Bridget is in the middle of the Pickwick family and all their issues, including her own: ridding herself of her widow’s weeds. It has been 4 years since her husband’s accidental death and her family is pressuring her to move on. But is she ready? And with other family members getting married and having babies, she can’t get away from it.
Now she is the champion for Uncle Obe’s project to sell the family estate, but she wants to preserve it in it’s natural state as much as possible. No track homes or industrial park if she has anything to say about it. And now the challenge begins, who will buy the property and how will it be developed?
As Bridget interacts with the developers interested in the property she also discovers much about herself and begins to rid herself of her widow’s weeds.
Great story of families working together toward a common goal and the conflicts involved. A modern coming back to God story with a “happily ever after” ending.
