“Finding Becky” by Martha Rogers- book review

“Finding Becky” is the third in the Winds Across the Prairie series and kept my interest just like the first two book.  Set in Oklahoma Territory, early 1900’s the series follows the settlers in their quest to carve out their family’s living.  This book starts as Becky, or Rebecca, as she would now like to be addressed, arrives home after graduating from college in Boston.  Four years away from OK has broadened her horizons and changed her in many ways.  She is returning to her home town to be a writer for the home town newspaper.  She also wants to bring reform and new ideas to the territory.

The story is filled with cowboys, wind storms, fires, home town celebrations, romance, and just a bit of  mystery, to keep the reader turning the pages.  Wonderful continuation to the series, can’t wait for #4.
