“Blood and Bone” by Don Hoesel, book review
After many years of traipsing around the world searching for Biblical artifacts, Jack has settled down, married Espy and they have 2 sons. He is teaching at the university and enjoying being a husband and father. But with a single phone call, all that changes. Someone has discovered the secret Jack buried in the desert 13 years ago.
And so begins the journey, much like the old days. Jack and Espy follow the clues around the world while trying to keep the secrets too. But the stakes are so much higher this time, because of the boys.
Great adventure book, sorta like Indiana Jones, but with a Biblical twist. I did find the plot dragging a bit at times, but followed the story well. Maybe it is more of a “guy” book. But still I enjoyed it.
