“The 21 toughest questions your kids will ask about Christianity” by Alex McFarland, book review
When you become a parent, you also become the Answer Man, supposed to know the correct answer to each and every question that your child will ask. And ask they will, often. Why? How? When? and Why? Again.
And as a good parent we want to be able to help our children navigate this big bad world and answer their questions quickly and honestly. But some of those questions are hard! Especially when it comes to religion and Christianity. Alex McFarland has attempted to give parents a head start in this area. He has tackled 21 really tough questions about God, Jesus, the Trinity and prayer.
The book is well written and organized in a way that will aid a busy parent to know which chapter to read to help their child with a specific question, including Biblical references and Key Concepts. While not all parents may agree with all the author’s positions, this book does give some specific answers and a place to start the discussion with their child.
