“Catherine’s Pursuit” by Lena Nelson Dooley, book review

“Catherine’s Pursuit” McKenna’s Daughters series III, by Lena Nelson Dooley, book review

Catherine is so excited about her 18th birthday and the party. Until she hears her father and aunt arguing, and is so surprised when her name is mentioned. She bursts into the room and demands to be told what they were talking about. After a bit of delay, her father told her that she was not an only child, she has 2 sisters. The three girls were born as triplets while on the wagon train trail west, and where their mother died.

Catherine is shocked! How could her father just give her sisters away?

This is the third book in the McKenna’s Daughters series, and continues the story of this family. The book is well written and I enjoyed it. While it is part of a series, it can stand alone.

Disclaimer: I received this book from the publisher, Realms. All opinions expressed are my own.
