“Life Support” Grace Medical Novel, by Candace Calvert, book review

Lauren Barclay is a nurse at Grace Medical in Houston. She is back home to keep an eye on her sister, who just keeps making bad decisions. She enjoys the fast pace work of the hospital, but keeps running into PA Eli Landry, who caused so many of her sister’s problems.

Eli and Lauren must work together, but they also involved in helping their families with problems. For Eli, it is caring for his mentally disabled brother while caring for his daughter. Lauren is trying to help Jess get back on her feet without enabling her poor behavior.

They are doing well at solving these problems, when a strong storm heads toward Houston.

This is book 3 in the Grace Medical series, and it continues the story of the main characters. The author gives a fair amount of detail from previous books to help the reader understand how the plot arrived at its current place. I enjoyed the story and at times it seemed so real, I thought I heard rain…
