“NIV God’s Word for Gardeners Bible” Book Review

“NIV God’s Word for Gardeners Bible” Book Review

This new Bible has 52 weeks of lessons from the Bible relating to gardening, growing plants and working with plants.  The lessons are outlined in the introduction, then spread through out the book as they appear in the text.  Each lesson includes Bible reading, and then an explanation of some gardening/ horticulture aspect of the reading.

For those who are interested in plants, gardening, farming or horticulture, this Bible with the lessons will bring more meaning to your Biblical understanding.  As a culture we are often very removed from where our food and fiber are grown, and so do not understand the lessons or hardships detailed in the Bible.

I with there were color pictures to illustrate the plants, maps and vegetables described in the book, but the white and green color scheme is pleasant.

This would make a great gift a gardening friend or relative.

Disclaimer:  I received this book from the publisher, Zondervan.  All opinions expressed are my own.
