“Beyond Hope’s Valley” by Tricia Goyer, book review
This is book #3 in the Big Montana Novel series, and it completes many of the questions left at the end of book #2. Marianna is returning home with her long time boy friend, Aaron. Aaron had traveled to Montana to claim Marianna, after she left with her family before he could finish the cabin he built to be their home. But he breaks his leg in an auto accident while traveling to her family’s home and spends several weeks recuperating. It is a time for Aaron and Marianna to become better acquainted.
But when Marianna leaves, Ben Stone decides that she has chosen her Amish heritage over him. He visits his manager and after playing a few new songs heads out on the road to tour. His faith in God is much stronger than when the last time he was out on the road, and he was able to turn away from temptations! He was able to share his story of salvation with his audiences and hoped he was making a difference in someone’s life.
When Marianna’s parents return to Indiana for a visit and to bring back their belongings to Montana, Ben volunteers to drive them. He hopes to see Marianna and learn once and for all what her decision will be: Aaron or Him.
I enjoyed this book, especially after having read the first 2 in the series. It was easy to follow. I recommend it to you.
