“Home for Christmas” Stories for Young and Old, book review

Christmas is a time filled with wonderful traditions, smells, and activities! We all have funny stories of Christmas past and secrets for this year. And hopefully there are some special stories or books that go along with the Christmas season.

“Home for Christmas” is a collection of 20 timeless stories on the theme of Christmas from a variety of authors. Some stories may be familiar while others are not. The stories vary in length, but most are several pages and can be read in about 10 minutes. They all hold a truth that we can use during the business of the Christmas season.

I enjoyed reading these stories. They were uplifting and enjoyable. This would be a great book for an upper elementary or older teacher to use to read aloud to the class in the days leading up to Christmas. Or a home school mom to read to her kids. Also, it would make a great gift for anyone.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from the publisher, Plough Publishing House. All opinions expressed are my own.
