“Wisdom Tree” by Mary Manners, book review
Carin O’Mallery moved to a new town to start over, after the death of her mother and brother. And then she had to escape from her abusive fiancé. But the new school where she teaches and the new town are becoming to feel like home. Until she meets Jake and his little brother. These two are trying to learn to live again after the tragic death of their parents. Jake is the local pastor. But when he meets Carin he is mowing the church lawn and pretends to be just the church grounds keeper. They get off to a rocky start, but in their plan to help Corey succeed in school and get over his grief, they become friends and more.
This is an easy book to read and a sweet story. I enjoyed it and would read another from the same author.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Sometimes the last thing we think we need is exactly what God has planned
After the death of his parents, Jake Samuels has enough on his plate—including a fledgling church to lead and a mischievous younger brother to raise. The last thing he needs is a rambunctious woman to contend with.
Carin O’Malley is dealing with the death of her brother and a new job as an English teacher at East Ridge Middle School where Corey Samuels reigns as King of Chaos. The last thing she needs is to fall in love…especially with a handsome and complicated preacher like Corey’s brother Jake.
But when Corey’s antics toss Carin and Jake together, the two must draw from God’s wisdom to find refuge in His perfect plan.
