“Race Against Time” by Kayla Woodhouse, book review
In Alaska Dog racing is more than a hobby, it is her job and her life. Anesia Naltsiine raises world famous race dogs. She also has made a name for herself and her family in the dog race world. Now her daughter is old enough to race and is a winner as well.
Their little town in Alaska is close knit and cares for their own. Last year when there was a murder, the whole town worked together to solve it. And now, it has happened again, but this time Zoya was the witness. And it seems that the people responsible are determined to silence her.
This is a fast moving story with lots of twists and turns. Anesia is weary of the pressure of keeping her daughter safe, alone, but is unwilling to accept help from her friends and employees. But in the end, she realizes that God is the only source of strength that can be depended on.
