“A House Divided” by Robert Whitlow

Corbin is a small town lawyer.  He knows everyone and everyone knows him.  And his problem with drinking.  But he knows he has it under control.  Until his beloved Kitty dies.  Then his world really comes unraveled.

His children, Ray and Roxy, have both become successful attorneys.  But in the process of helping their father with a case, both lose their jobs.  While this is a major set back for them both, they see their family healing.

I enjoyed this book.  The family works through real problems and comes out on top.  Each deal with defeat and disappointment in a different, but noble way.  And each turn to God for hope and guidance.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher, Thomas Nelson.  All opinions expressed are my own.
