“America the Strong” by William Bennett, book review

“Conservative Ideas to Spark the Next Generation” is the subtitle of the new book by William Bennett.  As a nation, we are moving so far away from conservative values that many do not even know where to start.  This book gives a great basis to start defending these values.  Bennett uses the acronym FLINT: Free enterprise, Limited government, Individual liberty, National Defense, Traditional values.  The book is easy to read and has lots of examples that make each topic real.

This book would be a wonderful resource for a home school family to use to teach civics or to include in US government class.

Disclaimer:  I received a copy of this book from the publisher, Tyndale House.  All opinions expressed are my own.
