“Code 13” by Down Brown, book review

Caroline is a good Navy Seaman, and an attorney. She is honored to be promoted to the prestigious JAG office at the Pentagon. But the best part if that her old flame, PJ is assigned to Washington DC too. And they are off to a good start, a run through the capital mall. But a gun shot changes it all!

On the line is a billion-dollar contract for drones to monitor the shore line. There are movers and sharers on both side of the drone contract, and both are willing to do anything to see the contract go their way. Including kill. And how Caroline must write the judgment for the contract.

This book is a page turning murder mystery with lots of navy information. There is so much intrigue and surprise. And evidence of God’s love and forgiveness.

I enjoyed this book. While traveling I read this book through many airports and flights. It was full of action and kept my attention. I would enjoy another book in this series.
